Okpekpe Road Race 2014
Okpekpe is more than just a collection of fertile farmlands or a window into the past, it is a living modern village of approximately 50,000 people.
No of participating countries: Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Cameroon and Nigeria have sent initial confirmation.
Quality of Athletes: Top runners in the continent have indicated interest and some have already been confirmed for the race.
Location: The Okpekpe Road Race starts in Apama Road and ends in Okpekpe (Auchi), Edo State
Distance: 10 Kilometres over hills and sandy path, the first in Nigeria
Race date: 3rd May, 2014
Registration: Registration for the 2014 Okpekpe Road Race will be open till Thursday 1st of May, 2014.
